Resumption of Sunday Racing

13 Jul 2020

With the recent changes to the government guidelines I'm please to say we can resume our normal Sunday racing, so long as you can comply with the 1m+ or 2m social distancing guidelines.

Unfortunately I don't think we are in a position to hold any open meetings or discover sailing sessions at the moment.

The RYA guidance on 'Return to Boating ' is getting tweaked regularly, so please review it.

We will start the  late summer series   this Sunday, so it will run from 19th July to 30th August and will cancel the mid-summer regatta on the 2nd August and have normal club racing instead.

Bewl Water Site Open from 13th May

15 May 2020

The Bewl Water site reopened on 13th May along with the ability to sail & windsurf; more details can be found at https://www.bewlwater.co.uk/

Due to the Government & RYA current guidelines around holding 'events' we aren't restarting Sunday racing just yet; though I'm sure a number of you will still want to get back into the routine of Sunday sailing which we can all now do Bewl is open.

As this situation changes daily we will be having weekly Thursday Zoom calls open to the BSA membership to discuss that weeks updates and whether we can restart racing again. so if BSA members can look out for the zoom call invite in their email inbox.
